Start your Forest Festival Saturday by running or walking the Goldsborough Creek Run/Walk/Jog. Sponsored by The Centennial Guild, a Mason Health Foundation chapter, this event supports a nursing scholarship and other needs for Mason Health.
This event is a 2-mile run or walk and a 7-mile run or walk. Runs are intended for all age groups. The ¼ mile Junior Jog is for children ages 3 to 8, and the ¼ mile walk/run/jog is for ages 65 and up. See run times below.
Check-in for all participants and day-of registration begins at 6 a.m. at the corner of N. 2nd Street and Railroad Avenue.

Course details: The run/walk/jog event will begin and the Shelton Valley Christian School on Shelton Valley Road. The ¼ mile walk for ages 65 and up, and the Jr. Joggers, will start at 7th Street and Railroad Avenue. See below for downloadable brochure.
7 mile participants will follow the Shelton Valley loop through a farming community.
2 mile participants leave Shelton Valley proper and go directly to downtown Shelton.
All races conclude on the parade route in front of the Post Office. 1/4 mile senior walkers and 1/4 mile junior joggers begin at 7th street and continue to the Shelton Post Office just prior to the Mason County Forest Festival parade.
Start times:
• 7:00am - 7 mile walk.
• 8:00am - 7 mile run, 2 mile run, 2 mile walk.
• 9:15am - 1/4 mile junior jog (Ages 3-8)
• 9:30am - 1/4 mile (Ages 65+)
• 9:45 awards at Registration area.
• All participants must sign the Release & Waiver of Liability form to participate.
• No Dogs on the course.
